Hand-rolled green tea pearls from Hunan province with jasmine flowers
Jasmine pearl tea comes from the best jasmine-tea growing region of Fujian province. This high-quality tea has a strong scent of jasmine flowers and a delightful flavor as well. Fresh tea leaves are mixed with jasmine flowers to infuse them with jasmine flavor. This process is done twice. The infused tea leaves are then hand-rolled into small pearls before they are steamed and dried.
How to prepare jasmine tea:
Heat some fresh water just until it reaches the boiling point. Let the water cool to about 80°C. Pour some hot water into a small pot, and rinse it out. Add a heaping teaspoon of tea leaves for every cup to the pot. Pour the hot water over the tea leaves. After about a minute, the tea is ready for drinking. The same tea leaves can be used for about 4 infusions.
How to store tea:
Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container. Unopened packages can also be placed in the freezer to extend shelf-life.
