Product Description

This Japanese-style tea is made from quality Chinese green tea that is first steamed for 15 to 45 seconds to prevent oxidation. The tea leaves are then rolled, shaped and dried before roasting. Sencha green tea is made from unground tea leaves.


How to make green tea:


Reserve about 3 to 4 g of tea per cup. Boil some water and let it cool to about 70C. Be careful not to burn the tea leaves by using water that's too hot. Pour the water over the tea leaves. Let steep for about 1,5 to 2 minutes. The tea leaves can be used for multiple infusions.


How to store tea:


Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container. Unopened packages can also be frozen to extend shelf-life.
